Based on the work of Brené Brown, the primary focus of this weekend will be exploring how a culture of scarcity (not enough time, not enough money, not feeling good enough) and comparison can result in us diminishing our lives by  “armoring up” and distancing ourselves from one another. You will be invited to explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors that are holding you back and identify how new choices and practices can help you move toward more authentic and wholehearted living.

During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, lead.

What drives our fear of being vulnerable?

How are we protecting ourselves from vulnerability?

What price are we paying when we shut down and disengage?

How do we own and engage with vulnerability?
